the car: 1998 F355 F1 GTS with 28K mikes. Newbie here - first time.

I have been told that my remote security system is fried from trying to start the car with a dead or low charged battery. Any idea how much it may cost to replace or repair the security system? I know it is not the battery in the sending unit because when I push the button on the red remote, the red light flashes once and it used to beep. Doesn't beep anymore - just dead.

    Thanks
    Paul

I'm happy with Jorge's bypass on my car. Not cheap, but it's a DIY install for just about anyone.
