I am trying to finalize a design for another Ferrari removable front license plate bracket (similar to the ones I have on my chairpilotproducts.com website) to fit the mesh type grill common to the 360's and 430's. If anyone can help by sending me back the following dimensions shown on the attached worksheet, it would be greatly appreciated. I will be happy to post my final prototype here (or PM me) once I have resolved the design, if anyone is interested.

    Thanks,

    Bob R.

I have the challenge grills for the front of my 360 spider. Do you want to deal with that flavor? If yes, I could take some measures+pics FYI.

My concern of any designs would be that it would block the air floor intake on the 360s.

    Thanks

Those vents if blocked will overheat the car. I saw it first hand last year when a group of us went on a Fall meet to Blowing Rock, those with the challenge grill sucked up & stuck wet leaves all over those grills.. blocking off airflow & causing a scuderia to get near red on the gauge..

Before seeing this I was bummed I had the stock large grate vents, after seeing first hand clogged challenge grills I no longer had a quest to change grills...

With my larger squares you can actually vacuum any trash out that gets sucked in there..a small wand can fit in the larger hole..

Of all the Plate Clips I've sold to date (65+), no one has experienced any increased heating problems. My brackets are spaced away from the grill at least 3" and is usually mounted low on the grill leaving most of the upper area clear. But I suppose every car is a little different. Many guys have been telling me they just put it on while parked as meter readers have been ticketing their car while parked on the street during the day! Besides, if one were tracking their car when cooling is most critical, they can take the plate Clip off for the runs.

    B - 1.75 mm
    C - 17.5 mm
    D - 23.55 mm

Not sure what the variances are but I imagine a little wiggle room should be adapted into your plan. Also note that I'm not a machinist so take my measurements with a grain of salt.

Hope it helps as I'm tired of having my front plate stuck on the bumper with double sided tape. :D

Thanks for the measurements guys. I should have a finished model by the end of this month and will post pictures of it on my buddy's 360. Turns out it will probably work on the 16M and 599 GTO too.
