I tried searching this, but no success. I need to get access to the turn signal bulbs in the speedometer on a 512BBi. I tried removing the two thumb screws at the top of the pod, but unsure of where to go next without forcing something. Is it easier to remove the "pod" or go up under the dash behind the speeddometer.

Remember that I do not have one of these cars but in looking at the diagram it appears that the facia trim is held on by thumb screws that can be removed from the front to get access to the speedo where the lamps are? It appears that after the screws are loosened you pull on the side (out and laterally) where the screws are and it should pry open.

Thanks Robert. I will give it a try. Did not have that schematic and did not want to force it.
