    Pressed in? Secret threads?

    I'm trying to remove it on my old shift mechanism. I suspect it's gummed in the assembly and needs refurbishment.. probably NLA as well..

    I am guessing pressed in. I have never removed one. Warm the housing with super hot water and see if it comes out.
    I use really hot water to rinse parts and I have pressed in parts slide out when rinsing all the time. For small parts, it is faster than a torch and very efficient.
