Hi I would like to change my door sills with carbon sill. Is there anybody has removed them ? And how ? thank you !
1. With the door open, Lift the rubber gasket off that runs across the threshold of the opening between the inner and outer sill. 2. You can either remove or just loosen the rear door opening trim ( where the door catch is located.) make reference where the door catch is located. Also, make reference as to where the sill is located and overlapped by the rear door opening trim. 3. The door sill should pull loose from the inner seam out. There is some adhesive in the area where it wraps over onto the rocker area. 4. Clean area underneath sill and install new sill. If you have yet to purchase a set we have several different versions available. David
