Removed my sticky parts and dash today and found some suprises.

    It's true the parts don't feel great to the touch but besides the switches and buttons, you don't touch them often and you get used to it.

    Plus, if you change the hvac cover, the rustoleum matchess it nicely.

    This is how I masked off the vents in order to be able to paint them on the inside without having thick paint on the outside surfaces.

    Then once painted (sprayed) generously on the inside, give it a few light coats on the outside.
