I made a how to video reliving my airbag stickers on my brand new f8 Tributo. First video I’ve done so feel free to rip me a new one. While I tried to upload in 4k it looks not even 1080 so I assume I did something wrong
I should do this with my spider, and probably 812 while I'm at it. Gotta have something to do in the Ferraris while it's icy and snowy outside. Great video!
I should add, use isopropyl alcohol to remove the adhesive that is left behind. It will at first appear to be small pieces of stitching, but it’s not so don’t pick at it.
Given the interior visual of the car I think taking up half the beautiful leather stitched visor right in your field of view 24-7 is Why.. imo they are very obtrusive to the interior beauty.. and you see them constantly. Everything is closed behind a panel as far as I can tell? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I would be careful not to remove too many….if you decide to sell car later on,a buyer might look for them.
Sounds like the next guys problem. Do what you want to your car, and if a buyer is gonna pass because of some air bag notices being removed that’s their problem. Someone else will buy the car.
I save the stickers that I very carefully remove in the that event a potential buyer wants them (although I have exactly zero interest in ever selling my F8).
Lol. The f8 is so damn beautiful no buyer is ever going to go “wow this is spectacular but where are those airbag stickers” granted I’m in the camp of f8 keepers but if for some unlikely scenario I was to sell and this happened I think I would kick the buyer out of my house.
The stickers have grown in size and ugliness. Now they are stitched. How much jail time are we looking at for removing these stickers.
Why would they have changed to these ugly and far bigger stickers than in the 458 ? And only on one side ... ? Not stiched at all ... Image Unavailable, Please Login
as the owner of a 1987 328 GTS, 36 years from now you might wish you had the original visors I would have removed the original visors, stored them, and bought a second set and reupholstered
Considering I turned 50 this year I guarantee I won’t give one s*** in 36 years! Assuming I still have this car in my collection at that time, my kids, who would get everything, won’t be worried either…
Some owners want their cars to be classiche certified with 500 miles and everything to be pristine so they can circle J with their concourse buddies about their works of art. Some owners want to actually enjoy the car and drive it, and make the changes to suit their desires of the car. Don’t tell someone what they should have done, it’s their car. If you don’t want the air bag stickers removed on YOUR ferrari that is fine.
Hopefully he’s smart enough not to make an incriminating video of that. Or wear a disguise. Image Unavailable, Please Login
He owns a $500,000+ car and, quite frankly, should act like it Hacking his visors apart and then suggesting others do the same is absurd
