Hi guys can anyone point me to a thread on removing the cats. I've tried searching but to no avail... Thanks in advance
Hi Mate, take a look at my thread regarding exhaust box removal a couple of days ago, someone has a link in that thread Cheers
That's my thread. I replaced cats with some made by Prospeed. It's not hard. But it'll take some patience. You will need the following tools: 10,13,14,22mm wrenches. Also 10.12,13,14,mm sockets. A metric allen tool. I forget the exact size. I used a bicycle tool that has like 6 on it. Check out the thread. Jack up the rear or use ramps as I did.Be safe. The cats come out from below. Remove the L&R Aero panels from the bottom for better access. Remove the air boxes, The muffler heat shield. I have a Tubi muffler. I had to loosen the mounts to move it in order to get a little more room to drop the cats. The O2 sensors use a 22mm wrench. You might want to take pictures to see where everything is in just in case. It took me a day per side. I could do it much faster now. But I like slow and steady.Good luck.
