    Hello,

I have my Mondial 8 engine out and am rebuilding for EFI. I will use a crankshaft-driven timing and individual COPs, so I do not need the original Ferrari distributors. I can remove the distributor cap and rotor easily and wish to cap them off. However, there is a shaft sticking out and it seems to held my maybe a pin and maybe it can be punched out....any experience in this?

I believe that shaft is part of the cam shaft that holds the rotor.

Nicks Forza Ferrari can supply a domed cap that covers the end of the distributor drive cam without removing that stub shaft piece.
