    Hi there, can anyone shed some light on how to remove the emergency brake handle from a F355? Just the black handle part to replace with CF.

    Pull really hard. The one on my 348 came off with a lot of grunting and twisting.

    is the boot connected to the handle in any way.. ie will i tear the boot when the handle comes off?

    Mine did not. If you twist it, you should be able to see if the boot also twists. I've done this a dozen times or so on other cars. It's just a pull and turn motion. That's about it. Again, my car is a 348, but I'm sure it's the same.

    I just did this in readiness for a carbon handle. It has a tongue so don't twist it much. My leather cover has a small dome fastener near the handle so I unclipped it and peeled the cover back. An adjustable wrench with cloth protection fitted snug around the brake body and increasing taps on the wrench with a hammer till it moved. Took quite a wack but got it off.
