    Ok, so i want to pull my harness from my ECU to have a look at the pins for corrosion. I lifted up the silver handle and unscrewed the screw at the base of the plug. However, I still can't get the harness to come off. It seems to be hung up on something at the bottom. Am I missing something?

    Free the ECU from its screws then remove the plug and life will be good. Look not only for corrosion but spread pin that fail to provide good clamp force to male ECU pins. If that happens post back here and I will tell you how to fix that. I think you will be shocked at what you see.
