I am in the process of replacing the timing belts and checking the valve clearance on my 1984 Mondial QV Cab.

I opened the access panel behind the rear seats to access the front bank, but I can't figure out how to remove the valve cover. There is very little room and it appears that the cover will be stuck against the frame if I even try to remove it. I did a search but I couldn't find anything on a Mondial Cab, front back valve covers. GT4s appear to be very easy.

Has anybody removed the front valve cover on a Mondial Cab? Does the engine need to come out?

    Thanks in advance.

The cover will come out. Remove the throttle cable, and the insulation panel..2 10mm nuts hold this on..maybe three, can't remember. Once that is out of the way, the cover will clear.

I see what you mean. Very tight in there. Does the valve cover go out throught the top or the bottom? Do I need to remove the air intake, fuel injectors, etc?
