I am in the process of replacing the spark plugs on 550 maranello, any body can tell me how the heigh tension cable comes out. it is just pulling straight up by a special tool or it is a screw type. If it comes straight out where can I get the pulling tool. Thanks for any advise.

The spark plug connectors just pull straight off. You just use your fingers, there is no special pulling tool.

I tried very hard to pull off, I do not see any sign of becoming lose, the ruber cap is tightly sitted on the valve cover. usually there is a tool to grab the cord to pull off.

Just keep at it mate. If they have been on there a while, they will be very tight. :):)

You can use some pliers to pull on them, but you have to be VERY careful not to damage the leads. :):)

Trust me, they HAVE to come off some way or another. ;);)

Push down on one momentarily, then twist it only 1/8th of a turn left then right. Then pull up with your hand (holding the end of the wire, not the wire itself).
