    What is the best way to remove the glass of the outside rear side mirror in a 550 98? After an impact it does not rotate properly and I want to know if there is an easy fix.

    Is it just a matter of inserting something between the glass and the metal casing and use it as a lever?

    The glass attaches to the main moving body with adhesive backing. I replaced my cracked glass by just levering off very gently. I dont think you will be lucky enough to remove the glass without damaging or cracking it. Replacement glass is about $90 from Ferrari dealer.

    If it doesnt rotate properly dont you have to remove the whole unit from the side of the car? There are 3 bolts under the black plastic triangle. Not sure what the next step is after that.
