Apologies in advance if this is covered elsewhere, I've searched and cannot find a photo of the removal of the rear "Ferrari" marker. My shop gave me a few clips and everyone claims it is easy to "pop" them off from underneath, but with what? Also, are those two clips (on a 360 truck lid at least) the only thing holding it on, or am I going to knock said clips off only to find the thing still cemented on? Photos and real life experiences welcome.

    Thank you

The Ferreri emblem is affixed from underneath with these two clips, you can actually grab them with a long nose plyers and gently unscrew them. The emblem is also affixed with two sided tape, so it must also be gently worked loose. You can also try using some dental floss to work underneath the emblem from above to loosen the grip of the two sided tape, just watch the screw posts and be careful as the emblem is easily bent.

On mine, the clips were pulled out but not screw out so they were basically destroyed in the process of removing. As long as you already got the spare clips (2 at least) then should be ok.

To put the clips back on, use a small socket with the diameter slightly bigger that the clips to push them up - this will make the job much easier (push up slow and careful NOT TO DROP).

Very easy job - just have to do it slow.

    Thank you for the replies...

So it does have double sided tape...the next question then is: Will the double sided tape still have some level of "stickyness" left once I remove the marker and try to replace it?

If you are careful and lucky enough then you might be able to reuse the double sided tape. Most likely it will be destroyed in the removal process as well.

You can buy some very thin 3M double sided tape to replace it with.

Fishing line also works for removing badges stuck on with 2 sided tape.
