    The rear view mirrors on my 81 308 are difficult to get good adjustment because they only have up/down movement. I would like to replace them with something that looks close to original and also has left/right, up/down movement.
    DoI have to remove the inner door panels to remove them?
    Also, any recommendations for replacements?

    What mirrors do you have at the moment?
    My 1980 308 has California mirrors.
    I am actually about to put a new pair on that I bought from Superformance UK. http://www.superformance.co.uk/
    No need to touch the door panels they simply bolt on externally.

    You won't have to pull the door panel to remove the mirrors UNLESS you are not being careful and let the electrical plug fall back in the little hole when you unplug it. Be careful.
