Removing side view mirrors, where is the wire connector ?

    I'm removing my side view mirrors on my 98 355 , the 3 nuts are off but I can't find the wire connector to disconect the power mirror wire. I have the door panel off as well, is it buried in the door panel somewhere ?

    nvm figured it out, just had to pull a little harder to run the wires up to reveal the connector.

    Be careful to put a bit of tape on the side of the connector thats staying in the car.

    If you dont, and drop it into the door - apparently its a right pig to fish back out - or so my "friend" said so. Obviously am far too clever to have actually done that stupid thing myself.. ;-)
