Removing Swirls On Wood Trim

Was watching a chemical guys video on the subject, probably would have just bought what they were using on the spot it if were easy. They suggested a polish called, best I could tell, M36. Of course Googling M36 anything comes up with a bunch of BMW hits, and I can't find this particular product on their web site either. Go figure. I don't really care who's product. What I want is a gentle polishing compound ideal for the clear coat on interior bits and an appropriate small pad for hand polishing. Recommendations greatly appreciated.
