This might seem like an odd thing, but this is the place to ask. Had anyone deleted the battery cutoff switch in their 360 cars? They seem to be very prone to corroding internally with their location, and with it being the main ground of the car, that just seems like a bad place in the system to have that kind of potential problem. I understand it is convenient to have, but besides the convenience of not having to remove the battery terminal directly from the battery when you want to cut power, are there any other benefits? My reasoning is that it is a part that is prone to failure. Also, most other cars do not have them. I believe many newer Ferraris do not have them either, but could be wrong. I’m just curious if anyone has done this and just directly bolted the negative terminal to the location the cutoff switch normally goes to, and puts a plug in the cut off switch hole. I’m not saying I am doing this, but with all the ground issues my car had when I bought it, I’m a bit paranoid and anything to remove a future problem sounds like a good idea to me. Just curious to hear what others think. Thanks.
I actually use it too. Last time was 1 month ago when I removed my ecus and put heat shields per Trev around them
