Was a few QVs with Koenig Kits on the market two years ago and a lot of discussion here on cost vs removing the Body Mods and returning to stock. Have any of you that purchased one of these cars completed the transformation? Would be very interested in hearing your perspective and about the process. Remember a very nice red QV with one of these kits, attractively priced, was very tempting.

On my 77 GTB the kit was rivetted and bonded in place. Held water just about everywhere so rust was an issue. Not sure it was terribly worse than any other car needing rest repairs, but removing the kit will require some modest body work. I am doing a complete bare metal resto, so was not a huge issue for me. I would not count on removing the Koenig stuff, which is absolute crap, and expecting some minor body issues requiring simple repaint. Count on quite a bit.

Forgot yours was in early GTB. Very good move IMO, well worth the effort to bring that beautiful car back to Factory standards. Pics would be cool!
