Just about to clean and condition the seats but think I can do a much better job by taking them out of the car. I understand that each seat is held in by 4 allen bolts that can be accessed by sliding them back and forth. I read somewhere though that there is a fuel pump kill switch under the drivers seat! Is this right and if so is it easy to remove from the seat?

    Cheers

That seat switch for the fuel pump is only used on the carbed 308 -- no seat switch on your injected 308QV.

Should take you about 10 minutes or less to remove the seat. Use a 6mm allen to remove the front bolts first, then slide the seat all the way forward on the rails and remove the rear two. Then the seat will pull right out. If you have a targa car, it's much easier if you take the top out first.
