Has anyone had experience removing tint film from the rear glass of a 550 or 575? My 550 has tint film applied to the rear glass that I'd like to have proffessionally removed, but afraid they might damage the rear defrost wires on the glass. Thanks.

Get a steam machine used for clothing garments. Go over it a few times and start peeling in one sheet. Doe well, all the glue comes off. Otherwise you have to razor blade the glue. Put lots of towels down so your car doesn’t retain moisture and mold.

Make sure the tint is nice and warm. I left my car in direct sunlight for an hour before peeling up a corner. Comes up pretty easily when hot. Check YouTube also, I saw some good videos before taking off my tint.
