The carpet comes out in one big piece. Some cars may have small screws near the perimeter, like right behind the headlamps. You have to remove the rubber gasket that seals against the trunk. (I going by memory, my car is away). Good luck!

There are three steel bars, one each side and one at the rear, which you can take off if you like to take out the liner completely. There are also a few small screws just behind the head lamp assembly. However you only have to loosen the fan assembly frame and the rubber gasket to get to the A/C filler caps. They are located just in front of the bulkhead and behind the fan.

Have you checked the drier??? Mine was from 1991!!!
    Good Luck!!!!

you have to pull that rubbe seal off that on the car that seals the trunk lid. not all the way but a good way
towards the front of the car.
after you take those bars that cover up the seam of the top part of the trunk liner to the bottem
you'll see that you don't need to take it completely out.
there are a couple of sheet metal screws that are near the headlights, one on each side don't forget
to remove them before trying to get the top part of the trunk liner out.
