will pull out of F1 if the budget cap rules aren't changed per Autosport's website.
I'm thinking these rule changes aren't going to happen. Bernie himself should remember what happens when enough teams are dissatisfied with the governance.
Getting down to the short strokes as the dead-line nears. I'm expecting a spending cap 50-60 mil but not two tiered system. What I'm more curious about is how Bernie will be splitting revenue with the teams. Expenses are only meaningful when they're balanced against income.
Dave IMO the figure you mentioned is probably what Max realistically had in mind, the rest is just getting very hot air, I think!! Bernie will step in and stop Ferrari and the rest leaving, then you will have a saving face exercise for Max as his terms will be met but introduced in a phased way over X amount of years, then it's onwards and upwards because cretin Max will retire...having seemingly put in place his vision for the future of F1...... all in my hopefull opinion..
Bernie's got the makings of a full on revolt on his hands. The teams starting call the shots is something he won't be able to turn back no matter what angles he comes up with.
Bernie has made and continues to make them too much money for them to ditch him. They are just negotiating for a bigger piece of the pie. All will be forgiven as far as Bernie and FOTA are concerned. Max brings little to the table and should have been gone long ago.
