Ok. I am French and from the old school of the a110 and a310. I grew up with them and saw them racing the local hills races on week ends.

All I have to say is this:

    1. Its about time Renault stop treating Alpine as a drunk brother since it bought it and give it a bit of attention. I applaude the idea of reviving Alpine.

    2. I am disgusted at the car futuristic design with the Alpine badge on it. This came out of the blue after decaders of abandon, and the car is way to much of a gap from the original A110. In act there seem to be no bloodline at all from the looks of it.
I wished they would have stayed closer to the original design. A CEO does not make a B. Pierrangeli.
Alpine is not a Ferrari , Bugatti or Lamborghini. It should not even look like a Stratos that Aliens would have copied.
I wonder what Therier and Andruet think of this abortion.
Whatever happened to the French motorsport of the 70's ???

Curious to see if the production model will indeed look like that.
