I was at a number of V10 era races through 2005 and yes, I did shed a tear hearing the R25......

Yep, along with others as well like Cosworth V12 (Valkyrie) at a fraction of what these turbo hybrids cost.

If you use biofuels on the V10's, their carbon footprint will be lower.

    F1 is missing V10s!

Think about the best sounding engines. Lexus LFA, Carrera GT

JUDD, their engines were in some nice hillclimb unibodies.:)

I want to do a $30k build with a VR38 from an R35 GTR and even those are ridiculously expensive especially when you add in the aftermarket ECU.

Is that not what Doran did at the time? That was considered sacrilege.

Could Biofuels Bring V10 Engines Back to F1? - YouTube

The full video pissed me off on 2 points:

First of all they highlight that e-fuel's don't please environmentalists and therefore it would be insensitive. Well, duh. Environmentalists are never happy. If the entire world today drove in electric cars and fueled only by magical clean windpower and fairy farts, they'd still have an issue with it all. It will never, ever be enough for them. There's a reason you can't spell environmentalists without "mentalists". Apparently ecomentalists are upset that the e fuel they make using electricity from their windfarm and solar panels isn't efficient enough...They need stop ****ing pandering to these lunatics!

2nd was their statement that the car manufacturers in F1 are there ''to bring some of that technology to their road cars". ********. Real F1 engine tech won't make it to proper road cars for 2 simple reasons: Costs and complexity. There simply is no reason to have the fanciest tech in generic road cars because there are simpler ways to get the same result. Mercedes' ******** claims of having a real MGUH in their road cars for example as laughable. It was literally just a turbocharger with an 48v electric motor attached to it. No matter how many F1 links they try to give to it (they kind of have to in order to justify their F1 expenditures), it's simple not true.

those mentalists may be interested in FE.
It is far from being green !

The temporary street cicuits require hundreds of diesel trucks, concrete barriers, temporary grandstands / catering facilities etc etc. Weeks to rig and de-rig.

    FE is BROWN !

IF the average family had 2 EV's, just 1 EV to charge would consume the same electricity of 10 refrigerators.......the current grid would not be able to handle the consumption. We would have rolling blackouts and power outages on a daily basis.

These "green environmentalists" are dumb, stupid and idiotic and they have global governments following them.

You may be right, but that doesn't stop governments encouraging EVs, and the present fuel price increase tends to make them right too.

I am just wondering how will will recharge all these EVs once the majority of motorists will have turned to electricity.

I think ecologists want to kill individual transport to the benefit of public transport they never stop to advocate.

It reveals how dumb many governments currently are.
    Government should lead, not follow.

Governments are not neutral: they are made of people who want to push an opinion.

They are currently concerned of the 2 to 5% of the population currently that have EV's.....everyone else "Sorry, you have to suffer at the pump as WE are driving a narrative to save the world!!!".....please.

In Europe the ecologist lobby has infiltrated all the political parties to push their agenda.

The left tells you climate change is a mortal threat.

The right believes it's a good opportunity to make money.
