A few pix from the 05 Reno Air Races. We finished 3rd in the Bronze. Not to bad for the old Sparknot. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow, don't tease me that "ferrarichat.com" was actually on your plane! Seriously, maybe we can work a deal for aviatorchat.com. Thanks for the pics!
What does the wing tip say? Had my sticker guy make up a few of these and they showed up on other aircraft. The Hawker Sea Fury in the next pit owned and flown by a f chatter from somewhere Mo...perhaps St Louis. He is restoring a 250 or 275. Attends your site lots. Small ferrarichat world. Deals-----why sointly, but not at all necessary. ss Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
One of my classmates worked for the Nemesis team on weekends this summer when he was working for Xcor in mojave this summer. While im sure Reno was one of the highlights of his summer, i'm sure his trips to scaled were up there as well since he got to meet Dick and Burt Rutan, and some other prominent people in aerospace and air racing.

While he didnt stay late enough to go to Reno, i'm sure his trips to scaled made up for it since he got to meet Dick and Burt Rutan, and some other prominent people in aerospace and air racing.
Had a great week. Lozza fun and safe flying. The guy with a foot on tire is Bud Anderson. Chuck Yeager was his wingman in the 357th Fighter Group during 44-45 out of Yoxford,England. A tripple Ace and still flys one of Jack Roush's P-51s just to keep current. He also pilots Roush's bizjet whenever he can. Think he is 82....still sharp as a tack. Lives right down the road in Auburn, Ca. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow, I'm honored, I thought it was a photochop. Do you have a high res version of the pic? I would like to make a poster and frame it. My email is rlay -at- aviatorchat.com Are you talking about Steve Patterson? He isn't very active, but I've known him for 3-4 years. 90% into planes now and maybe only 10% Ferraris. Has a 275 GTB getting restored. Heard a couple weeks ago he even has a fighter jet now.
Yep, thats Mikr Browns T-cat...Ya otta hear that thing going by at smoke speed. Ya got a good eye Rob, Steve Patterson. Dynamic guy. Flew an excellent race for a rookie. Sorry, no high res...just 35 mm shot. I'l try and get what you want next time down in the hanger.
Cool, I would like something with the entire plane in the pic, but fchat logo visible. Similar to pic above. Wow, you don't know how much this means! Thanks.
Hey Steve, your Mustang is wicked hot! awesome to look at. Of all of the airplanes I have flown, nothing to compares to the beauty of a P-51. although I have never flown her, The Mustang has always been my favorate ever since I was a boy. In my teenage years I used to work doing what ever in Tamiami airport here in Florida, I loved seeing Kermit Weeks fly his mustang "Cripes O Mighty" in the early evening, sometimes he would see me sitting on top of the fuel truck and buzz me then pull up sharply. those were the days for me... thank you, Mario
