I haven't tried all years but with some persuasion(tool can be finicky with the immobilizer) I've gotten most of the people I helped to have it work on at least a 2001 and up..I can't remember if it did on a 2000 or 1999 since I don't recall anyone I helped with those years

Remember this is a read only tool

I received my AP200 today and plan to try it tomorrow on my 2001 360.

What I’d like to do is read a few PIDs from each bank simultaneously.

For example, I’d like to read fuel trim and injector duration for both banks simultaneously. Is it possible to pick just those PIDs and display the live data?

    Thanks.

Unfortunately you can not combine two modules together on the ap200 for Ferrari- recently Launch announced they can do that on Ferrari but I haven't used it since to see how it works
But even if Launch tools have that capability it doesn't connect to your TCU .. so then you have to have a few tools

Ok, can live without that function, but I find it odd that my $30 scanner from
Autozone can read both fuel trims simultaneously while the AP200 cannot. Actually, the AP200 cannot read fuel trims at all from a 360, according to Autel tech support.

I called Autel because of the five PIDs I require, the AP200 could read only one.

It cannot read fuel trims, status of O2 open loop, or injector duration.

The Autel agent said the AP200 has very limited capability when used on a 2001 360.

Autel says they’ll call me back with a recommendation on what model will do the job.

I’ll let you know what they say.

    Take care.

I am truly surprised ..that has been my experience

In fact the top of line ultra scan hard the same data item iirc

I felt the old version ap200 had all the parameters available in the car ... And equal to the ones in the 5k unit they sell

In terms of showing both banks at the same time ..I think it has to do with the way the Ferrari is setup .. two engine Management systems to run the engine and hownthe two communicate with each other

Most have one ECU to run both banks

So more about the car vs the tool

Good point, but as I mentioned, my $30 scanner reads both banks simultaneously.

If you mean on the Ferrari ?

You can use the obd2 menu on the ap200 item to do what your scanner does I think but the obd parameter list is limited

The EOBD report shows Short Term Fuel Trim and Long Term Fuel Trim for Bank 1. Do you know where to find the same for Bank 2?
    Thanks.

Are you aware of any scanner that will read both Short- and Long-Term fuel trims, both banks, on a 360?

Unfortunately I haven't seen that format for reporting for the other bank ...I just try to interpret the fuel parameters as we conversed about on the ECU parameters in the Ferrari menu

Any chance the MP808S would do any better in terms of reporting B2 fuel trim?

No ..the ap200 gives you all data items that the most expensive tool in there line gives for the Ferrari brand

For what you are looking for ..no
But since the Leo connects to the ECU directly ..I am sure that does
