Try primerentcar.com I have used them excellent service and they rent all type off cars. They brought my car right to the airport. Great people to deal with.

Please be certain that you want to do this. Are you a frequent visitor to Roma? I couldn't imagine driving a Fiat 500 there

I agree with the above. I wouldn't want to be driving any car in Rome, especially a rented Ferrari. Unless you know the area really well.

I didn't even like riding in a taxi in Rome. I couldn't imagine driving an F car.

Stick with it Borgo. You will have great fun driving in Rome. Just be aware you need to change your persona to Italian, hand jesters and all. Sort of like Bombay where the main preflight check is that the horn is working.

Yes, do this and avoid all cars in Rome. You can see all the great places by walking....

Amalfie drive is spectacular. I too would skip driving in Rome and do this instead.

I rented a Ferrari in Rome, albeit, i didn't drive that much in the heart of the city, but rather we headed out to see nearby historic towns on the city's outskirts. Despite the clear reluctance to drive in Rome, I would really recommend doing this as me and my wife had an awesome time. We used Europe Luxury Car Hire and they were great, both delivered and picked up the Ferrari from us.

Driving in Italy is incredible. Driving in Rome is a nightmare. Ferrari + kamikaze scooter drivers = no fun...

Last time I was in Rome I rented a Fiat 500 and found it plenty fun for the city... in a Ferrari I'd rather be in Tuscany vineyard hopping.

agreed. the only time i had fun driving a ferrari in rome was during the mille.
    otherwise, park it.
when i lived there, i had a specific town car - a beat up ancient bmw that i didnt give a damn about. all decent cars were reserved for travel outside of the city.

True words of wisdom...inside Rome, use an old beat-up car that does not fear anything anymore.
Avoid driving a Ferrari in Rome.

When in Rome, the only thing I use is the "Shoe Leather Express."

You can (almost) always find parking in one of the Piazzas.

A car? In downtown Rome? I would not bother unless it was an M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank.

Rome is like any major world city... center city driving / traffic is best left to the professionals... as a passenger one does not need to concentrate on traffic and navigate but can fully take in the surroundings... the best part is that once at destination, just get out of the car, no need to look for non existent parking when one wants to get out of the car... a car rental is better suited to escape the congestion of the city... I don't know of anyone who enjoys driving in a congested city at home, why would it be more palatable in a strange city...

Rome is one of the last places on earth that I would want to drive around in, let alone in a Ferrari! Don't do it!

thats actually fun. had a scooter when i lived there. subsequently have rented whenever there - freedom to get around and just enough speed to beat walking, and you can see everything.

scooters can be great... brings to mind the time we were going to an event on a scooter and being followed by a Ferrari ( who had a difficult time keeping up with us in the traffic) with a extremely attractive passenger. ( one of those top down glamor scenes in films ) The Ferrari kept on getting hung up in traffic while we just putted along... when we got to the pick up place for the launch to take us to the boat we noticed the same Ferrari arrive a short time later to drop his passenger off ( turned out they were guests to the same event as well ) while he went off to find a place to park ( there was plenty of room to easily park the scooter ) generally it is better to hire a car w/driver in a foreign city for many reasons beyond self driving, when appropriate a scooter can be fun and better than a car

    I agree mostly

I'd be ok driving my own car there as I'm more familiar with it.

Saw a 430 there, streets are so small there it looked a SUV

In fall 2013 there was a rental place near Trevi Fountain & Saint Peters Square. Be sure to pack bravery & skills for that area!
