    Anybody interested in renting a house for the 12 hour? I have a hotel room for the event, but it is 40 minutes away. I thought maybe it would be easier to rent something closer to the track. Anyone interested in sharing the cost? then PM me.

    I doubt that you could find a rentable house at this late stage. The ALMS/Pro teams have them pretty well contracted out before the end of the preceding season.

    This is one the down sides of our rookie status as a series. The guys who have planned to be at these event in 2011, make their reservation in 2012. I cannot get accommodation for the Mosport event any closer than 80 kms in June. The Glen events are even tougher.

    A room or two - possible, but for a team of 8 in my case - much harder. So when a series slearns in January where it is going to be, we start from behind the 8 ball !

    I have been scouring on line the area for a house to rent and haven't had any luck, most appeared to be booked well in advance. Wish I had tried looking much earlier.

    Have you searched CraigsList?

    Look at the Lakeland (Polk County) and maybe "Heartland" areas (Highlands Co.).

    Try Spring Lake villas , tell them you want to play Golf, not racing they usually hold some

    Thank you Guys. CraigsList is a good idea. I have called a few friends that live in Sebring. I found a couple of nice home 15 minutes away from the track.

    I tried booking right after the 2011 race for '12. I have my name at a few places with waiting lists, but I haven't heard back from anyone after I've been contacting them for updates.

    I think I'll be watching the race from my home.
