A construction"bump" was much bigger than I expected this weekend.

End result a cracked front spoiler on my 1989 348tb.

Can anyone recommend a place ( GTA or west ) that has repaired and painted these while keeping the texture? I want to keep it original ( well as close as possible w/o buying a replacement ) and the skirt is black.

A second source of annoyance is two pieces of shrunk leather on the passenger side. I called a few places who can only help if I buy the whole hide. As I only need about 1 square meter has anyone found a blace to provide matching leather?

    Thanks,
    Greg

    Greg.....

Any competent body shop can plastic weld and match the paint texture. If they say it will cost you more than $500 post pics here first. I've repaired two 348 front spoilers on my own car.

You can use any similar shade of leather and have it dyed. There's no need to buy matching leather or anything else. I commonly only pay $250 a seat panel to have it restitched and dyed.

Anything more than that and you are being asked to pay the Ferrari tax. I am in Calgary so I cannot help you with recomendations for your location.

    Greg:

    Sorry to hear.

Call Rick at Impera 416-755-2772 (Ferrari guy) for the fibreglass and Serge at New Image for the leather 416-752-0883 (Exotic cruise guy with old Corvette) around the corner from each other. If you bring it to Ricks, he will bring it to Serge for you. Call me for more info if you like and use my name when you call these guys.

Do you go to the Saturday morning Porsche meets anymore? Let me know when you do and I'll meet up with you there with my 348 and poke fun at the Porsche guys.
