    Hi!

    I just bought my first Ferrari, a 2003 360 F1, and I am a new member here.

Can anyone recommend a reliable repair shop in the San Francisco peninsula? There is an authorized Ferrari dealer in Redwood City, but an independent shop should be significantly less expensive, right?

The only guy I know on the peninsula that may be able to work on a modern Fcar is Dayal Dindral.

Several of us have had bad experiences at FoSV. They just can't get the repairs right so you go back again and again writting checks every time.

Welcome to the board. Join us at Santa Row one of these Saturdays.

That's "Santana Row," unless it's December, and then I suppose Santa Row will suffice. ;)

Thanks guys. I'm having Tubi installed and the engine checked -- the rev fluctuates up and down when in neutral and the throttle held constant at about 3000 rpm.

Thanks for recommending Dayal Dindral. I've already scheduled a service appointment with FoSV in Redwood City. Maybe I should cancel and go with Dindral???

    What's Santana Row?

Santana Row (in San Jose) is where we all meet on Saturday mornings at about 9:30am. Sometimes, we all go on a scenic and spirited drive afterwards. (We = Exotic Car Fanantics)

The meet is every Saturday, weather permitting. See thread below.

I would bring the car to Kevin McCue at Competitizione Motors at Sears Point as my first choice for this vintage of car. Dayal next.

I would not take it to anybody else except for Brian Crall in San Ramon.

I also live on the Peninsula. I drive a bit further to San Ramon. It's worth it to get Brian Crall. He is very very good.

Tony is a good guy. Brian Crall also is one to check out.

Thanks Ray. Tony is much closer to me than Brian Crall.

Is FoSV that bad? Nobody is recommending them. The F car community is very small. Do they still have any service business left??

Unfortunately, I already ordered a Tubi through FoSV. I'll use them this time and post the results.
