Just over a month ago I was going to take my 1982 308 GTSi to a car show. While stopped waiting to make a left turn, the idiot in front of me decided he did not want to turn so , for reasons even he could not explain, he backed his damn Honda SUV into my front end.

The sheet metal damage is not that severe and is well along being repaired but my shop (they take care of my other ferraris and other cars) is having trouble locating a good used front US spec. bumper. The owner said he believed there may be a shop that can repair my damaged unit.

Anyone know of a good used front 308 US bumper or the name and address of a shop that can repair my damaged rubber covered unit?

A pair just sold here for a couple of hundred dollars...last week.

    *sigh*

    I need one myself.

There's one in Seattle and another one in Scandinavia!

The rubber coating can indeed be repaired and painted but it's not, originally.
There's a thread here on the process somewhere....

See if TRutland's is wrecking out a car, any year 1976 to 1981 or so, is the same.
You are correct our North American bumper/grill is a special shape, not world wide.

That one at Eurospares is a VERY odd shape, it does indeed have the 'drop down' lower edge, but in between the blocks the North American bumper goes back "up" to allow the grill bars....

    Not sure that's a North American Version.....odd!

Hard to see in this pic, but best I have of the grill..

Looks like Rennspeed is in production, I wish they'd just 'mold" a North American one and be done with it!

Except I crash into a lot of stuff..... and actually USE them! LOL!

Eurospares version is definitely a Euro bumper, injection moulded. Not for US spec

Between T. Rutlands and those guys up in the north east (New England?) who part out Ferraris, a decent one should be available. And there are enough people on this forum bragging about their 'euro bumper conversions' they did that someone should have one sitting around! :D

I still have a US front bumper in exellent condition i would trade for a euro version, but I guess the overseas freight would be to high.
