    So - I've inherited this scratch , shown below, which has started to darken in color - looks like it goes into the metal . Can this be fixed without new panel . I see that "Schmee 150" did a u tube video of him keying his FF and seemingly it being seamlessly fixed - Afraid I can't bring myself round to watching the video. - the thought of keying ur car brings me out in cold sweats - I'm in the Tampa Bay Area [​IMG]

    It does appear that it is through the clear. The colour is darkening because there isn't any clear coat to protect the base paint from the elements used for the touch up.
    Touch ups are very noticeable even when done professionally. The panel should be prepared and completely painted to hide the damage.
