Is there any special tool needed? It looks like two screws per windstop. Do you have to recycle top and special way? THANKS,
Nothing fancy, just 2 screws. I think an 8mm wrench. Cycle the top until you can get to the screws, stop part way. Not a big job but watch your fingers if the top starts to move.
Tim, Spend 2 hours replacing the windstops with new ones as rubber seals around screen were sticky and cracked. My 2 screws on each windstop were allen screws, which were hard to get the allen wrench on the two outside corner screws. Done and the new windstops LOOK GREAT! Thanks, Steve
I was able to buy rubber gasket that works on the 360 windstops. It is described on Ebay as Windshield Auto Glass Push In T shape Molding Flexible Trim Rubber. It is the right width and the spline fits perfectly to hold in the mesh. Not including removal from the car, replacing the rubber took about 20 minutes each. Very hard to find this rubber and I was glad it worked out perfectly. Looks great.
