Some how when I spec'ed out my car I made the mistake of thinking the F1 Steering wheel came with the Carbon Fiber paddles. live and learn, not so.

Having driven a 296 with the carbon fiber paddles for quite a while(which are bigger, smoother and just sexier to the touch then the stock ones) I had to retro-fit my PM with the carbon fiber paddles.

I ordered them from the dealer. Waited for months. They arrived in their red box beauty, they are easily 30% bigger than the stock metal paddles. The installation I did myself and it was a breeze, except for my endless shaking hands worrried I was going to mess-up something on my less-than-1k Ferrari.

The feel is sooooo much better and yes just a whole lot sexier and smooth.

    Worth the $1.5k

I have a set of Ferrari factory carbon fiber paddles for a California T if anyone is looking to upgrade ... should fit a regular California as well, possibly others. Not sure they are any larger than the standard ones but they sure look nice!

For those who are looking at a Portofino or Cali T, the option to look for is the "Carbon Fibre Driver Zone with LEDs", which is the CF steering wheel with LEDs plus the CF paddles and a CF rim on the tachometer. It added about $2K to the steering wheel alone which is the more common option.

Ok, I just have to ask. What on earth is "US visibility equipment" for $10k?

It means my car can be seen from space lol. I assume that's the front and rear cameras, with the front camera switch under and to the right of the steering column. I do use it when deciding if I can clear a parking barrier.
