    Want to convert vinyl targa top to painted. Where can I purchase paintable targa top or can vinyl be removed and painted without reducing the value of the car?

    The targa on the 348/355 is simply vinyl grained fiberglass. Any competent paint shop should be able to sand it smooth and spray it. As far as depreciation is concerned, I have never seen a painted targa top reduce the value of the car. I doubt it will add value, however it seems to be a more desired look than the stock flat black.

    Agreed- any good paint shop will be able to paint the vinyl roof. It will make no difference to the value of the car, unless someone wants total originality. I believe people prefer the colour-coded roof.

    If you search there was someone who done this on a 328(or maybe 308)he posted pics and a description of how he done it,it looked pretty good to me.
