Hopefully you're not the moron I am...I'm on my 2nd 328, but don't drive it much, took to my mechanic recently, because the antenna wasn't going up or down when I turned on/off the radio. Luckily, I also was having new tires put on, They called to say the tires were on and the antenna worked fine for them....Went to pick it up, and damn antenna wasn't working again, until the mechanic came out to show me the separate button that I TOTALLY forgot about. They all got a good laugh at my expense

Thought I'd update this thread. Just replaced my original semi automatic antenna with this Metra unit 44-PW22:

I bought through Amazon for the free shipping.

I wanted to maintain the functionality of the original manual switch. There is a thread in the tech section that shows how to convert a fully automatic antenna to semi automatic using diodes across the leads from the antenna switch:

I didn't put the diode across the switch terminals, just straddled the leads in the boot.

Antenna works great with the existing switch to raise and lower the antenna.
