I did a search through the forum and couldn't find reference to anything. I'm considering replacing all the interior carpet in my 348. Anyone done this and did you find a vendor that didn't charge a hoof and a leg for the carpet? I'd like it to be close to OEM but it doesn't need to be OEM Ferrari. Thanks in advance and looking forward to warmer weather and less snow in the Mid-Atlantic, David

I've been shopping also. Gahh does sell uncut yardage of carpet for about $100 / yd. Not sure what color or material (Wool?) would be as close to original as possible, but I suspect you could do a pretty solid job with a little patience. Even better, make a template when you do it, then sell pre-cut carpet kits for beer money to the rest of us! I just had an Interior upholstery shop form automotive carpet and lay it down. It looks very original and was much cheaper than any original carpet (if even available). Kai
Hopefully finding a supplier shouldn't be too much of a problem. My 348 had all of its carpets replaced when the car was brand new! The first owner was Chinese, they have 'apparently' a superstition thing about others carpets and will often replace completely (I also experienced this when coincidentally I sold my last house to Chinese, who replaced all my recent new carpet with new!). Consequently my 348 has all new deep pile English Wilton fitted, in grigio with black leather edging, very high quality and very nice. So I guess what I'm saying is you may end up with better than factory quality (although purists will undoubtedly scoff at it)
