Somewhat like the earlier thread. After skidding through a wet intersection today on my really pretty old TRX tires I have decided rubber needs upgrading. Rather than spend $211 each for Michelin TRX 220's for the front, and $468 (!) each for Coker 240's for the back, I have decided to ditch the TRX's in favor of "inched" rims which will accept contemporary tires.

Question is, I kind of like the way the old ones look and have no real desire to mount up 360 wheels on my old Mondial.

But, what is a good source for 16/7 and 16/8 rims which look OEM, but aren't? If anyone who has made the swap would share their source I'd appreciate it.

How about a set of stock 16x7 and 16x8 from a 3.2 Mondial? Perhaps FerrariUK could give you some information about availability/price?

Not neccesarily. As 911tr relates, the 7" anf 8" late Mondial 3.2 and t 16" wheels bolt up nicely with about the same offsets. Here's an example of those wheels on a QV.
    Good luck!
    best regards!

I think having a wider rear is a great idea. I was referring to the OEM spec on a trx mondial.
