I need a replacement heater valve for my 73 246GT.

Actually as I am based in Qatar in the Middle East I don't really need a heater, except my current valve is stuck on, and it gets a little warm inside the car - it is 28C here today. I have bypassed it but I need a replacement.

    Can anyone help?

    Simon

Even the original valve isn't that great at totally shutting off the hot water.

    +1, well said.

Put a shut off valve in line by the front feed to the ventilation heater box closest to the hot water source "T" from the tunnel line. Ferrari used to have this dual shutoff system in the 330's (possibly 250's too?) for two reasons
    - as above, the cable actuated one wasn't the best
    - there is the possibilty of heat still getting to the vent heater boxes by convection

This screw type shut off valve was called a Summer/Winter valve.

Thanks everyone. I think I will replace the valve with a new Superformance one and also add in the winter/summer valve.
