i own a 3.2QV 1987 european mondial cabriolet. but i think this could be a general discussion. it appears that the most worn out leather part in my car ( and probably others ) is the bottom part of the front seats (cushion). let see the attached picture. i have tried to oil , cream, and recolor it, but the leather is very used and dry here. some crackels appear. so i now consider to replace it with a new one. eurospares provides complete covering of the seat. did anyone buy such items ? at eurospares ? anywhere else ? i wonder if the leather is the same conolly leather quality as original ? the price seems reasonable as it is for the 2 seats. cheers all. covering (£557) : http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partsListing.asp?M=1&Mo=666&A=2&B=39147&S=&ID4=1586151 front cushion with covering ( £702 ) : http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partsListing.asp?M=1&Mo=666&A=2&B=39147&S=&ID4=1586152 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Connolly has gone under, (out of business) so unavailable (or old, to the point of unusable).. Many trim shops can match partial replacement, or Eurospares is good if you are in Europe, ReOriginals gets kits from Italy for the USA.. HTH.
