    Looking for a replacement for a sticky 1980 GTSI thermostat. Is there a source that is reasonable. If an after market one is available please let me know.

    I recall Carreaper posting a parts interchange listing a VW thermostat. Search the archives?

    Are they VW type, or are they the OEM heavy-duty type that also have the relief hole?

    Someone said that there is a NAPA standard part that is a direct fit, maybe a search will bring it up.
