Replacement tyres for a GS?

    Friend of mine has to replace the OE tyres on his GS after just 10 000km's of mainly city driving....pretty poor wear rate IMHO but his drive does take in a small mountain pass...and he does like wheelspinning into 2nd.....

    Anyway he is keen to get a slightly harder compund tyre than the Pirelli's that are fitted at the moment, he was thinking along the lines of Michelin.

    Anyone on here had experiences with other tyre brands on a GS?

    10 000km of pirelli p-zero rosso on a GS is pretty good IMO.
    how is it pretty poor wear rate? what do you expect considering the type of tire on this type of car?

    You have a point....and you are probably right, what I hadnt considered was the fact that these tyres do have a very soft compound and I would imagine grip is more important that durabilty.....
