Once the replacement is made available current owners will immediately try and sell their cars which will put more supply out there. Pricing will drop even further but the new car pricing (which will be higher) will help stabilize to some extent.

No, because then people realize how good an SF90 is.

This is just pure speculation on my part … but I believe Ferrari will find a way to make the new SF90 sound BETTER than the old one. Here’s why:

    1. Porsche GT3 and AM Vanquish sounding great even with GPF and new noise regs
    2. I think Ferrari realizes they have a problem with sound levels … with 12C and F8 Tributo as examples
    3. They have to pump up the sound of SF90 versus 296 because they already have buyers asking themselves why they should spend the extra money versus 296

That's not how it works with Ferrari buyers, they usually want the latest unless it is a classic or special car. The SF's will be on consignment well before the new cars arrive. It is already starting.

That's a very bad comparison. SF90 doesn't sound bad, let's get that out of the way. Furthermore, a 12 cilindri sounds good. A GT3 also sounds good, but also much quieter than a 991 GT3. The best Ferrari with OPF is an 812 Competizione. Insane sound and pure emotion.

I don’t disagree with anything you’re saying except that the 12C seems a bit quiet especially compared to the pre-GPF 812 SF. And the new Aston Martin Vanquish actually makes an incredibly good quality and level of sound. So I’m hopeful that the boffins at Ferrari will put their best thinking toward optimizing a really great sound for the new SF90

My SF90 took 3 years plus after deposit - 5 years after debut - some sooner and some still waiting.
We have an idea of SF90 replacement and SF90 owners likely get first allocations - new buyers can reasonably expect 2028 2029 if at all and may need an SF90.
Could the replacement be like F8 but more limited - Ferrari with XX VIP SF90 only, we will see on 296VS pricing allocations etc.
Keep in mind many lease their Ferrari's - meaning Ferrari has more skin in the game than owners.
Anyway the SF90 in all versions is an excellent drivers car - age well esp with clarity of warranty.

Ferrari built over 13,000 cars last year and are giving a prize of 14,400 € to their workers. Both numbers up from the previous year. They promise SIX new cars this year alone.
That doesn't sound like they are becoming more restrictive in the volume...
This isn't the right thread but a rumor of 20 percent of the F80 production remaining unsold may finally indicate some resistance to the ever spiraling higher prices and greater volumes?

What does that have to do with SF90 being more restricted and or taking years to deliver.
Pivoting is fine but too much to unpack - I agree with wrong thread.
My dealer got zero F80's their sister dealer 6 and this place is filled with rumors - so one more is normal.
Volume is overall - add Puro Electric which is going to make others more restricted - yes very likely.

Why do you think some brands / models have a better residual and some worse residual - cars are a reward. If you can't justify buying one - don't it's a really simple question.
Everyone should expect their car to depreciate equal to a lease - period. The factory knows the future better than a guy buying a Ferrari because he can.

Again more volume, not less volume. Even adding a couple cars, Ferrari still needs to produce more SF90 replacement, not fewer. It’s reasonable to expect that many buyers will not be required to own a SF90 to buy a SF90 replacement. It’s just math. Ferrari will need to produce more cars at higher MSRP’s to satisfy shareholder demands.

  15. Ferrari as a company knows what it is doing.

It just had a bang out year for 2024,

Net revenues for Ferrari have improved by nearly 12 percent in 2024 compared to 2023, and its 13,752 vehicles delivered in 2024 also represent an increase compared to the year prior, albeit by only one percent. Operating profit increased by 17 percent year-over-year, with profit margins increasing as well. Ferrari’s CEO, Benedetto Vigna, says that these favorable results are thanks to “quality of revenue over volumes” and “growing demand for personalizations.”
    SOURCE: duPont Registry

Unlike, for example, PAG, which just like Ferrari has consistently raised prices and increased volume across its various lines, is on the brink of a corporate uprising and with profits expected to trend downward for 2025, followed with a less than stellar 2024.

200M E factory, full production. Unless wrong with Puro SF90 296 etc
EV production - takes away from cars like SF90. If they have limited capacity add full EV models - other models lower and with same demand on SF90 like models - raise prices. It pulls up all other Ferrari's as MSRP rises. Higher trades so people don't care as much - watch :)
Challenge Cars - committing to a full year acing - 1M sold out.
Everywhere Ferrari lays out red carpet - 499P XX VS Monza F80 Challenge FXX F1 etc - sold out add Hamilton was a value add 7 -10B.

That's what I posted - unless wrong those models are being made at E factory there at full capacity.

"200M E factory, full production. Unless wrong with Puro SF90 296 etc"

As they switch to EV that will impact the SF90 like models.
Hold fork in one hand / spoon in other, grab a knife, out of functioning capacity. One had to go.
EV being knite - so less sports cars.
