As an SF90 Spider owner it will be very, very interesting to see how Ferrari will progrtess with this updated version.
I seriously can't call the SF90 a success for Ferrari, base don what users have told me, my own personal experience and the amount with delivery miles being on sale. I'm not here to bash the SF90, but this is a model that has a lot of controversy surrounding it. Somehow much more then the 296 which is a 'similar' car.
Yes the SF90 is an amazing drive, but somehow it failed to capture most buyers hearts.

No doubt but for the owners who are more invested in Ferrari - add receiving XX.
SF90 over msrp and now around msrp with a bump in Spider from what I see. Whomever is concerned over 100 up or down shouldn't be buying a Ferrari.
I bought 16M for 250 now worth 350 and same with Speciale up 200 and enjoyed them for years. Lost on others but enjoying the brand.
360 430- 459 two decades later which I believe, the 360 is best looking esp Stradale.
SF90 ranges 500 - 1M new territory, as new to Ferrari buyers feel like they have a "issues" car or heavy depreciation they make a knee jerk reaction - ending to receiving more allocations - flip like ownership. High end brands carry a cost to enter and reward those who stay loyal.
Ferrari SF90 is a new era - you either embrace it or you don't - half way in and half way out never ends well. Porsche and other brands have dealer ADM 100 - 300 over msrp.- I will take Ferrari's buy in program all day vs the others .

I suspect the question for many is whether the future models will be worth entering the "buy in program" for. Some will argue that the best Ferraris have already been built.

I actually wasn't referring to the increase/decrease in value of the SF90. Although that discussion seems to belong to every new model Ferrari makes.
"How much will it increase in value".
The better question will (or should) be "how much and fast will it depreciate" for 'regular models'. If anyone bought the SF90 as an 'investment car' they obviously couldn't read the market.....

I am actually referring to the vast numbers of cars being dumped at dealers with delivery miles. After speaking to many owners the majority simply aren't invested in the SF90. As if it's a 'side model' that doesn't really suit the line up. A model you were more or less required to buy for your status with Ferrari. It also hurt sales of the coupe that Ferrari announced the Spider verion pretty quickly. All in all lessons learned I hope for Maranello. Perhaps that's why the 12C was presented as a coupe and spider right away!?
Yes, it's got hypercar perfomance for supercar money and all that back then when it was launched. But it still failed (again, according to owners) to stir the soul; or make buyers crave one.
That to me is the big question mark, how does Ferrari make the next version a car we all desire/aspire to buy.
Simply added a few hp here and there and decreasing weight a bit doesn't seem to cut it.

Don’t be silly. It will have a hybrid TT V8. Not even slightest possibility of any other powertrain. Let’s nip this in the bud right now.

Always amazed by your self- absorbed authoritative tone in your reply judging others post which has nothing to do with you. Buddy, just because it's an open Internet forum, it does not mean you can rub people however you think you can.

I believe SF90 replacement will be a ‘higher content higher range of capability’ evolution of current car further distancing the value proposition of this model from the 296 by featuring the following

    1. Approximately 1,100 bhp
    2. 0 to 60mph 2.1 seconds factory quoted time
    3. 1’17.5” lap time at Fiorano
    4. More cohesive and integrated design. Tail lights similar to Cilindri.
    5. Dual pod screen interior like Cilindri
    6. Next generation digital displays
    7. Twice the current electric only range
    8. Higher adjustability of suspension settings between comfort and sport

See you can do it. This is a good demonstration of how a useful post can contribute to the forum discussion, instead of calling people names.

Longer range and bigger electric output suggests bigger battery, which means heavier than the current car. :(

SF90 does not need more power but need to shed about 100Kg.

So you disagree that NA V12 hybrid would stir everyone???
    LOL

I know I know, you just don’t want everyone to dream about something that won’t happen.

    But still…

I get it and used those exact words on Mac Life as the best cars have been built.
Bought Carrera GT Viper SV 765LT Senna now all sold but Senna.
SF90 Spider AF - best car ever owned - can't stop from grabbing the key and that's priceless. Is the 12Ci better than a Daytona - guy stroking a check can answer that, appears way more are going 12Ci. Ferrari is focussed on the future and that ages / prices some out - sooner than later.

Everyone has different tolerances - XX only if you kept the SF90 - players are addicted, it's really that simple.
It's been cutting it since the 360 Stradale and those keep going up - personally think SF90AF and XX will follow the same over time. Decade later 599GTO and 599HGTE history speaks esp in Spider form.
This is supposed to be fun - if it's not why some inflict so much brain damage is beyond me

Would love for it to be more user intuitive and user friendly. Just make it more useable. Don’t think the SF90’s main purpose was for track performance but rather a sort of super-GT.

For clarification, it is thought that current SF90 is required to get the next SF90? And same for each segment? If true, how do you get a new customer? I had zero V12 history and ordered a 2018 812SF. I passed in the SF90 for an F8 which I do not regret. 296 on order and will get on the list for the SF90 replacement. With a Puro and 12Ci both holding deposits, I’m thinking I can order the next SF90…

I don't know how or why people are guessing next SF90 - all I know is holders keep their place in line.
Ferrari has a high net worth and some new dealers and big allocations to fill - depends on where you are at your dealer or VIP - nothing else matters.

I would be first on the list for a mid engine regular production V12 whether full NA, hybrid, turbo or any combination thereof. And if Ferrari wants to continue to have regular production cars priced at $750k they would be well served to produce such a car.

We all want it. Mid engine 12 is the ultimate in handling physics and sound quality emotion. For whatever reason, Ferrari leadership is too blind, tone deaf and out of touch to produce this car we all want … even though Lamborghini makes such a car available to their customers … I wish d355 and other KOLs would relay this to leadership…

Is it more dramatic, more aggressive?

Is it better in your opinion?

There seems to be a bigger tail, or more SP 3 like …
