Took ownership of a 2018 488 in April and has been a ton of fun. The car 2 weeks back started to have the alarm go off after parking so I knew something was up but had to head out of the country. I am back today and the car will not start. The Ferrari trickle charger for an hour or so got the dash to light up at least and the battery voltage is showing 8.7V. I am going to get a wireless jump starter to get it going then drive it to my shop. When I opened the panel I was expecting to see a Ferrari OEM battery but it was instead an Interstate battery.

I am going to keep this car for the next 6 months and then move to a 812. I was going to buy a Braille battery to replace this one since I am not keeping the car forever. Is this a stupid idea when the Antigravity battery plus trickle charger/magnetic 4 pin adapter will be around $1300 vs a Braille (also adding a new CTEK charger plus adapter) will run $600?

Also for sanity check it seems the Braille B7548 is now B48-H6-L3?

This would be the correct battery? - https://www.cspracing.com/products/braille-battery-b48-h6-l3-endurance-series-agm-battery-12v-group-48-h6-l3-880-cca?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22810131539&gbraid=0AAAAACQ_uG_efq3dhMp7h1g3V33SHu1fW&gclid=Cj0KCQjwrJTGBhCbARIsANFBfgu2Bm1OWzacE9qw6CjaNZ_TroEfEBNEjCmRU1pwnuMNzP4n5FD3z18aAhHNEALw_wcB

    Thanks for the input all.

Pics of my car for fun!

Just buy a Duracell AGM amfeom batteries plus or Sam's and get a good trickle charger like ctek 5.0 7 amp with an adapter and you will be fine and under 500

Waste of $ on a Braille when only keeping the car 6months or even a year in my eyes. Plus you can't charge or maintain the Braille with the charge port on rear bumper like a stock style AGM. Just get a Interstate AGM and keep it on the battery maintainer and you'll be good to go!

Love your 488!!!...nice wheels too. You'll enjoy it a lot I know!
