    Hello Everyone,
How much does it cost to replace a clutch in a 355 (parts and labor)? how long does the original throwout bearing last tipically? is it highly reccomended to change it when replacing the clutch?
    Thanks,
    355Blue

Repacing the clutch....as for the parts, visit the Ricambi website or contact them for current part cost. Labor is going to vary.

My clutch was replaced by a dealer prior to my purchase and if I recall was around $2500.

Also, try the search function on this site.....it will lead you to many answers.

Unless the clutch was worn out at an unusually low milage (less that 5000) from bad driving habits, I would replace the throwout bearing, all seals (triple seals on shaft) and check the flywheel for any leakage, repacking if needed. The thowout bearing is not known for its longevity.

This may be too late for you, but don't replace the release bearing with a Ferrari part. Get the Hill Engineering replacement for the release bearing. It's of far superior build quality than that of the Ferrari part!
