I have a F430 with some a fair amount of scratches from previous owner. In Florida, at least, insurance will replace your windshield if it gets chipped. Is windshield replacement in this car something to be avoided? Is the seal integrity, trim, etc. a problem with replacement? Or will it largely be like new?? Have you had major problems after a windshield replacement?
    Thanks in advance.

You may get more views/responses if you post this in the 430 section if you haven't already.

Windshields are a consumable item. They get replaced all the time. A Ferrari is no different then any other car regarding this.

It will show up in your CLUE report as a claim though.

Hardly. Replaced a 308 windshield lately? I think not.
