    Hi All -

1987 Ferrari 328 GTS, US version.

It seems the bulb on the 'fasten seatbelt' light has either burned out or is loose.

What is the safest way to remove the lens to access the bulb? I'm a bit nervous in cracking/scratching it.

    Thanks!

I have never done it but I have heard that you just sneak it out usuing your fingernails. If this doesn't work, you can wrap dental floss around the bezel and snatch it out.....Again, never done only heard, but sounds logical.

Just take a pair of needle nose with some masking tape on the end and pull out the symbol only then you can pull out the bulb the contacts get this green patina on it so you have a bad connection.(but dont push to hard so you dont push the bulb housing in) if you pull the complete housing out Dental floss is the best, make sure you tape the bulb housing and the main housing togther before you snap it back in so it cant fall behind the dashplate.the bulb is a2A small bulb dont use more then 2Amps it will melt the symbol plastic as it is only Styrene
